TRACERS is a group of services and technologies designed to secure a port area, and the goods for export or in transit.

TRACERS can perform a pre-loading security control on containers before export for example.

Any of the following technologies can be used:

• non-intrusive scanners; radiation (gamma and neutron) and explosive detectors
• electronic smart seals
• RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) / barcode reading with Portable Data Terminals
• on-site secure IT platform for updating data including Automated Manifest System (AMS) information and scanned images
• credentialing of employees, vendors and drivers
• risk management systems such as Cotecna's CRMS®.
