COTECNA is very pleased to announce that we signed on 13 November 2003 a 7-year exclusive Destination Inspection contract with the Government of Tanzania - Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
The contract includes the supply and operation of a mobile X-Ray Heimann scanner (3.8 MeV) for containers, CRMS® - Cotecna's Computerized Risk Management System, price analysis, and other related services.
This contract will start on 01 January 2004. However, the scanner will only start operating on 01 July 2004. During the first half of 2004, PSI will continue to apply to most of the imports presently covered by our running PSI contract (which will be terminated on 31 December 2003).
CRMS® will also cover specific imports and / or goods imported under the USD threshold. | | | | |
