In December 2019, Cotecna helped support SRCC Children’s Hospital in launching a first-of-its-kind Neurofibromatosis Clinic (NF Clinic) in India.
Neurofibromatosis (NF) – a neurocutaneous disorder involving the skin, brain and several other organ systems – is the most common single gene disorder in humans, affecting 1 in every 3,000 people born worldwide.
Last month, Cotecna India supported the SRCC Children’s Hospital in Mumbai, which is backed by Narayana Health, to set up a new Neurofibromatosis department, with a vision to better educate people on this issue and enable them to take corrective measures towards treat it.
Dr Sudhir Gupta, VP Asia-Pacific at Cotecna, addressed the audience on the occasion of inauguration of the new NF Clinic.
